JMT Consulting is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working candidate to join our Solution Development Reps to help tell our story to nonprofits across North America. This position will work closely with our Sales and Marketing Events teams to assist in lead generation as well as contribute to our marketing events. The ideal candidate is an independent, hard-working, self-motivated, and creative individual who has a passion for B2B Marketing and Business Development.


This entry-level position is great for recent college graduates looking to gain valuable experience. You will assist the marketing and events team with event creation, execution, and lead generation. You will be responsible for making outbound calls to prospective leads prior to and after events to create opportunities for the sales team. You will help to nurture these prospects throughout the sales process. This person is a self-starter with a passion for learning different aspects of sales and event planning and is also a team player with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Our department is a small, fast-paced marketing team located in Round Rock, TX.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Outbound Business Development Phone Calls and Emails.
  • Event Coordination Creation, Assistance & Execution.
  • Territory Research and Development Strategy.
  • Database Development & Entry.
  • Define and Measure Event Success Metrics to increase pipeline growth and lead generation.
  • Maintain Marketing Performance Recap and Event Briefs and event plan, post-event notes, and metrics.
  • Create and maintain event folders and reports.


  • Relevant BA/BS Degree (Business, Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Communication).
  • Strong Computer Skills (Google Mail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Hubspot +, Salesforce, CRM).
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and Attention to Detail.
  • Customer service-oriented and “can do” personality.
